The 2004 season was a memorable one for Arsenal Football Club, as they completed an entire Premier League campaign without suffering a single defeat, becoming the first team to do so in the competition's history. This feat, known as the "Invincibles," was a remarkable achievement and cemented the team's place in English football lore.
Under the guidance of manager Arsène Wenger, Arsenal's 2004 team featured a talented and balanced squad that was able to consistently perform at a high level throughout the season. Key players included striker Thierry Henry, midfielder Patrick Vieira, and defenders Sol Campbell and Ashley Cole.
The team's strong defense was a key factor in their success, as they only conceded 26 goals in 38 league matches. They also scored 73 goals, finishing the season with 90 points and winning the Premier League title by an 11-point margin.
In addition to their domestic success, Arsenal also reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, where they were eliminated by Chelsea. Despite this disappointment, the team's undefeated league campaign will always be remembered as one of the greatest achievements in English football history.
